“INFANCIA MALDITA” es una exposición realizada por 5 ilustradoras nacionales de la talla de Atomique Acorn, Sara Bea, Shaun Elay, Laura Pérez y Sandra Uve.
La temática de la exposición, al igual que el cartel de la 24ª edición del Festival Caostica, se centra en los niños y niñas malditos del cine.
Un merecido homenaje a películas como “La Profecía”, “El Pueblo de los Malditos”, “Este Chico es un demonio”, “Los Chicos del Maíz” o “¿Quién puede matar a un niño?” y a los infantes que las protagonizan…

“CURSED CHILDHOOD” is an exhibition created by five renowned Spanish illustrators: Atomique Acorn, Sara Bea, Shaun Elay, Laura Pérez, and Sandra Uve.
The exhibition's theme, like the poster for the 24th edition of the Caostica Festival, focuses on the cursed children of cinema.

Bajo el alias Atomique Acorn se esconde una ilustradora y fanzinera alicantina con tendencia por el lowbrow más pop, la trash culture, los tebeos retro, la era atómica y los colores pastel. De estética “vieja” pero con un toque de actualidad, pasando por cómics desternillantes que no dejan indiferente a nadie.
Atomique Acorn ezizenarekin Alacanteko ilustratzaile eta fanzinera bat ezkutatzen da, lowbrow pop, trash culture, retro tebeoak, aro atomikoa eta pastel koloreekiko joerarekin. Estetika "zaharrekoa" baina gaur egungoa, inor axolagabe uzten ez duten komiki ernagarrietatik igaroz.
Behind the alias Atomique Acorn hides an illustrator and fanzine artist from Alicante with a penchant for the “popest” lowbrow, trash culture, retro comics, the atomic age, and pastel colors. Her aesthetic is "old-school" but with a modern twist, and her comics are hilarious and sure to make an impression.
Sara Bea Delgado es una pintora, dibujante e ilustradora de origen zaragozano que agita Barcelona desde las entrañas.
Su gran sentido del humor y sentido crítico añaden a su estilo interesantes contrastes, en un mundo de colores llamativos, que van del verde alien al rosa rabioso pasando por el rojo sangre, salpicado de referencias Pop.

Sara Bea Delgado is a painter, illustrator, and artist from Zaragoza who stirs things up in Barcelona fromher very core.
Her sharp sense of humor and critical eye add interesting contrasts to her style, in a world of striking colors, ranging from alien green to vibrant pink and blood red, sprinkled with Pop Art references.
Shaun Elay (Valencia, 1995) es una artista mundialmente reconocida por ser la única que ilustra en negativo en directo a gran formato y sin utilizar referentes para ello. El público puede interactuar con sus obras, utilizando su teléfono móvil para invertir sus colores y poder sorprenderse con el resultado La exposición “Shaun Fantastic Visions, Negative Art” recoge una selección de las imágenes más destacadas de la autora relacionadas con el mundo del cine. Alien y Terminator se dan la mano con Pinhead, Freddy Krueger o Nosferatu en una exposición interactiva y participativa para el público.
Shaun Elay (Valentzia, 1995) mundu osoan ezaguna den artista da, formatu handian negatiboan eta horretarako erreferenterik erabili gabe ilustratzen duen bakarra delako. Publikoak bere lanekin elkarreragin dezake, telefono mugikorra erabiliz koloreak alderantzikatzeko eta emaitzarekin harritzeko. «Shaun Fantastic Visions, Negative Art» erakusketak zinemaren munduarekin zerikusia duten egilearen irudirik nabarmenenak biltzen ditu. Shaun Elay (Valencia, 1995) is a world-renowned artist, unique in creating large-format, live negative illustrations without using reference images. The public can interact with her works, using their mobile phones to invert the colors and be surprised by the results. The exhibition “Shaun Fantastic Visions, Negative Art” features a selection of the artist's most striking images related to the world of cinema. Alien and Terminator meet Pinhead, Freddy Krueger, and Nosferatu in an interactive and participatory exhibition for the public.
Laura Pérez es una ilustradora y dibujante de cómics española cuyo trabajo ha aparecido en el Museo de Arte Moderno (MoMA), The Washington Post, National Geographic y Vanity Fair, entre otros. Ha creado varias novelas gráficas premiadas. En 2022, fue nominada a un premio Emmy por el diseño de los títulos de la serie de televisión Only Murders in the Building.
Laura Pérez Arte Modernoko Museoan (MoMA), The Washington Post-en, National Geographic-en eta Vanity Fair-en, besteak beste, agertu den espainiar komikien ilustratzaile eta marrazkilaria da. Laura Pérez is a Spanish illustrator and comics artist whose work has appeared in The Museum of Modern Art (MoMa), The Washington Post, National Geographic, and Vanity Fair, among others. She’s created several award-winning graphic novels. In 2022, she was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work on the title design for the TV series Only Murders in the Building.
Sandra Uve empezó su trayectoria como autora en los fanzines Annabel Lee (con Rubén Lardín, Mejor fanzine Salón del Cómic de Barcelona 1995), Ponnette y Snuff Boy & Snuffettes, entre otros. Autora de la novela gráfica Los Juncos (Astiberri, 2006) y del libro “SuperMujeres, SuperInventoras” (Planeta, 2018. Traducido a Coreano). Ha dibujado y hablado de còmics, en muchos fanzines (Monográfico, La más Bella, 2000maniacos), en revistas (Rolling Stone, Ruta66), y “Extrarradi” (ComRadio) entre otros medios de comunicación. Llevó el cómic y la animación a la tele dirigiendo y guionizando Toon Toon (TV3), como colaboradora en Nada que perder (Paramount Comedy), CuatroSfera (Cuatro), o en la actualidad Betevé Directe.

Sandra Uve began her career as an author in the fanzines Annabel Lee (with Rubén Lardín, winner of Best Fanzine at the Barcelona Comic Fair in 1995), Ponnette, and Snuff Boy & Snuffettes, among others. She is the author of the graphic novel Los Juncos (Astiberri, 2006) and the book “SuperMujeres, SuperInventoras” (Planeta, 2018, translated into Korean). She has drawn and spoken about comics in numerous fanzines (Monográfico, La más Bella, 2000maniacos), magazines (Rolling Stone, Ruta66), and “Extrarradi” (ComRadio), among other media outlets. She brought comics and animation to television, directing and writing Toon Toon (TV3), and contributing to Nada que perder (Paramount Comedy), CuatroSfera (Cuatro), and currently Betevé Directe.
