Este año como novedad, Caostica organiza en el marco del festival junto con Gidoi – Asociación de Guionistas de Euskadi la primera edición del Mercado del Cortometraje Vasco, un evento inédito y de carácter industry que cuenta con el respaldo de la industria audiovisual vasca y que nace con la voluntad de promocionar el formato corto, visibilizarlo y fomentar su creación –especialmente entre mujeres– y donde se darán cita diferentes agentes como productores, creadores, distribuidores o festivales.
Además de una networking session, se llevarán a cabo mesas redondas y charlas en las que participarán, entre otras, Begoña de Ibarra (directora general de Cultura de Diputación de Bizkaia), Vanesa Fernández (directora de Cultura y Euskera en EITB), la directora Maider Oleaga, Sonia Pacios (Kuttuna Filmak), Carmen Lacasa (Galapan), Eguzkiñe Aranzibia (Hemen Elkartea) o Iratxe Fresneda (Pimpinella Films).
Aurten, berrikuntza gisa, Caosticak, Gidoi – Euskadiko Gidoilarien Elkartearekin batera, Euskal Film Laburren Merkatuaren lehen edizioa antolatu du. Industry izaerako eta guztiz berria den ekitaldia, euskal ikus-entzunezkoen industriaren babesa duena eta formatu laburra bultzatu, ikusarazi eta haren sorkuntza – emakumeen artean bereziki – sustatzeko asmoarekin sortu dena. Bertan, hainbat eragile bilduko dira, hala nola ekoizle, sortzaile, banatze-etxe edo jaialdiak.
Networking saio batez gain, mahai-inguruak eta hitzaldiak egingo dira. Alma-X es una banda de electropop formada el 2001 en Barcelona compuesta por Carlos Santos y Núria Blay A.K.A. Also Starring y Pinkglove.
Por separado han tenido otros proyectos: Nuria con Pinkglove y Socorro Socorro.
Also, ha pasado por festivales como Sonar 2005 con FeelAction o Low Cost 2013 con Gratis.
Su debut en el festival FEA 2003 no dejó al público indiferente, y entre ese público estaba la directiva de Astrohugaro que apostó por ellos editando su larga duración «Impacto» en 2003.
Han desfilado por escenarios de la categoría de NITSA Club o PrimaveraSound 2003. Tras su repentina separación, recién publicado el disco, se han convertido en una banda tildada de maldita por unos así como de culto por otros, son icono de referencia del Electro Clash patrio, sirviendo de influencia a la escena de formaciones como Putilatex, Ojete Calor o Las Bistecs, entre otras.
Después de 20 años se han reunido para celebrar el aniversario y no contentos con remezclar el disco para la ocasión han sorprendido al público con un puñado de temas nuevos y amenazan con un nuevo disco.
Su directo explosivo hace honor al título del disco y lo han demostrado en el festival FEA 2023 y la gira 20 aniversario celebrada junto a Putilatex, con una tremenda acogida del público.

DJ Chavecito:
Amante empedernido del Eurodance de los 90, incluso antes licenciarse en Bellas Artes con el Máster por la Universidad del País Vasco. Acompaña sus pintxadas con baile y performance y fusiona en escena elementos de varios géneros como el house, el techno, el Hi-NRG y el pop, caracterizándose por sus ritmos rápidos y bailables, melodías fiesteras, y la frecuente combinación de vocalistas femeninas con rap o spoken word masculino.
VJ Náuseas:
Licenciado en Bellas Artes en la especialidad de audiovisuales entra en contacto con el Vjing de la mano de los extintos Hopper Visuals Whores. Curtido en el parket de la sala FEVER de Bilbao durante más de 10 años como VJ residente y de las sesiones Art After Dark del museo Guggenheim Bilbao.
Con un estilo icónico y muy pop, deja patente sus influencias en cada sesión. Desde películas de serie B hasta clásicos del cine underground.
Ha puesto imágenes a eventos y sesiones de Dj Nacionales e Internacionales como Oscar Mulero, DJ Hell, Gui Boratto, Magda, Erol Alkan, Ellen Allien , Madel & Lourdes… etc.
Su inquietud natural le ha llevado a colaborar con varios colectivos como Caostica, el dúo electrónico Dr. Skyloop, el grupo Mazmorra o las fiestas Electropical, en presentaciones multidisciplinares e, incluso bodas.

DJ Chavecito:
90eko hamarkadako Eurodance delakoaren maitale sutsua, Arte Ederretan lizentziatu eta Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatean Masterra burutu aurretik ere. Bere seisioak dantzarekin eta performancearekin aurkezten ditu, eta hainbat generotako elementuak biltzen ditu eszenan, hala nola house, techno, Hi-NRG eta pop-a. Ezaugarri hauek ditu: erritmo azkarrak eta dantzagarriak, festarako melodia egokiak, eta emakume bokalista eta gizonezko rap edo spoken konbinazioa.
VJ Náuseas:
Ikus entzunean lizentziatua Vjing-arekin harremanetan jartzen da Hopper Visuals-en eskutik. 10 urtez Fever-eko zoruan eta Guggenheim Bilbaoko musen egiten den Art After Dark sesioetan gogortu da.
Estilo ikoniko eta oso pop batekin, zeintzuk diren bere influentziak argi usten du sesio bakoitzean. Serie B-ko pelikuletatik Undergroun zinemako klasikoetaraino.
Irudiak jarri dizkio Oscar Mulero, Gato, Kinki, John Acquaviva, Aldo Linares… etab. Dj Nazional eta Nazioartekoen sesioetan.

DJ Chavecito:
Extreme lover of Eurodance in the 90s, even before graduating in Fine Arts with a Master’s degree from the University of the Basque Country. He accompanies his shows with dance and performance and fuses elements of various genres such as house, techno, Hi-NRG and pop on stage, characterized by his fast and danceable rhythms, party melodies, and the frequent combination of female vocalists with rap or masculine spoken word.
VJ Náuseas:
Bachelor of Fine Arts specialized in the Audiovisual field, he comes in contact with Vjing through the now dissolved Hopper Visuals Whores band. He was tempered as VJ in FEVER´s dance floor and in Bilbao´s Guggenheim Museum & “Art After Dark” performances for more than 10 years.
Best known for his pop iconic style, he makes clear his VJ influences in every performance, from B movies to Underground film classics.
He has veejayed live in national and international DJ performances, like those with Oscar Mulero, Gato, Kinki, John Acquaviva and Aldo Linares, among others.
His restless curiosity has led him to work with several associations such as Caostica, the electronic duo Dr. Skyloop, Mazmorra band or at Electropical parties, in multidisciplinary performances, and even in weddings.
