HOFE x 4:40 es el nombre del proyecto que conforman el cantante Igotz Mendez (Hofe) y los productores Xabier Lafuente y Marcos Galech (4:40).
Pese a que la unión musical consolidada entre estos tres jóvenes sea relativamente reciente, el trío lleva dando guerra en la escena de Iruña desde hace ya más de 5 años, previamente dedicados a la música junto a su anterior colectivo Nibbass, con el cual lograron gran notoriedad en la escena underground de Euskal Herria.
Ahora, de la mano del sello Oso Polita, y uniéndose a la oleada de nuevos talentos del roster de la discográfica, HOFE & 4:40 presentan su primera mixtape, ‘AMODIOA’ compuesta por siete temas.
Un trabajo donde la electrónica funciona como hilo conductor entre los diferentes tracks, fusionándose en cada tema con géneros que van desde el pop al techno o del trap al new wave. Piezas que unidas de forma natural construyen un concepto, el de plasmar las ideas, sentimientos y vivencias de una generación movida por la inquietud y por las ganas de crear. ‘AMODIOA’ recoge así influencias, referencias y géneros diferentes que unidos por la electrónica forman un sonido y una imagen visual que diferencian a HOFE x 4:40 por su innovación y originalidad.
Con un bagaje cultural, cinematográfico, estético y visual palpable, las letras de los artistas van más allá del papel y escarban en los sentimientos cotidianos transformándolos en arte, unidos a instrumentales que traspasan las fronteras de la electrónica y la actitud y descaro que define a HOFE x 4:40.

Despite that the musical bond of these three youngsters is relatively new, the trio has been jamming together in Iruña’s musical scene with their previous collective band Nibbass for more than 5 years, where they achieved great notoriety in the underground scene of Euskal Herria.

An album where Electronic Music acts as common thread between different tracks merging genres ranging from Pop to Techno, or from Trap to New Wave. Songs that together in a natural way build a concept, that of shaping the ideas, feelings and experiences of a generation moved by restlessness and the desire to create. ‘AMODIOA’ thus collects different influences, references and different genres that, stuck together by Electronic Music, create a sound and an image that distinguishes HOFE x 4:40 for its innovation and originality.
