Preestreno en Euskadi de Amor en toda la cara con la presencia de su director y actor protagonista Gerald B. Fillmore y la actriz Mela Green. Gerald dirigió en 2020 el multipremiado cortometraje Hold for appalause, que arrasó en destacados festivales de comedia con una historia de desamor en tiempos de pandemia contada a través de las videollamadas. Este corto puede considerarse el germen de Amor en toda la cara y en el coloquio posterior a su proyección hablaremos entre otros temas de cómo se gestó el proyecto y del salto del corto al largo. El director dirigió y protagonizó en 2022 For Pete’s Sake con el que ganó la mención especial de la sección Videozinema en la 20ª edición del Festival Internacional de Cortos y Videoclips Caostica.
Sinopsis: Los Angeles, 2020. Danny (35), español de madre inglesa y Ana (39), americana de padres mexicanos, son amigos de esos que se acuestan juntos, pero no saben si se quieren o no se quieren…
Danny, que es guionista, vuelve a España para renovar su visado de artista en la embajada americana de Madrid mientras Ana, actriz, está en Los Angeles audicionando para una nueva peli de super héroes dirigida por Víctor Harmmond (45, super director, super famoso y super buenorro). Contra todo pronóstico, Ana consigue el papel, pero casi no llega ni a celebrarlo porque, debido al aumento de casos de Covid, Trump anuncia el cierre de fronteras a Europa. Danny, ayudado por su excéntrica abogada y sus mejores amigos, trata de conseguir la documentación necesaria para regresar rápidamente, pero, en medio del caos, se entera por sus amigos de que Víctor Harmmond, el director de la peli de Ana, es también su exnovio. Danny, un tanto celoso y control-freak, se siente traicionado y confronta a Ana. Después de una acalorada discusión y ante la imposibilidad de Danny de volver a Los Angeles, deciden romper la relación.
Danny se queda confinado en Madrid con su padre, Félix, al que apenas aguanta; Ana, en Los Angeles con el rodaje de la peli parado por el Covid, ambos dan la relación por terminada, hasta que unas semanas después, Ana descubre que está embarazada. Ana y Danny tendrán que decidir si tener el bebé en medio de la pandemia y de si vuelven a estar juntos, lo cual es físicamente imposible ya que Danny no tiene permitido volar a EEUU.

Proiekzioaren ondorengo solasaldian, besteak beste, proiektua nola sortu zen eta film laburretik luzerako jauziaz hitz egingo dugu. Zuzendariak “For Pete’s Sake” zuzendu eta protagonista izan zen 2022an, eta Bideozinema atalaren aipamen berezia irabazi zuen Caostica – 20. Nazioarteko Film Labur eta Bideoklip Jaialdian.

Danny, who is a screenwriter, returns to Spain to renew his artist visa at the American embassy in Madrid while Ana, an actress, is in Los Angeles in an audition for a new superhero movie directed by Víctor Harmond (45, super director, super famous and super hot). Against all odds, Ana gets the role, but she almost doesn’t even get to celebrate because, due to the increase in Covid cases, Trump announces the closure of borders to Europe. Danny, helped by his eccentric lawyer and his best friends, tries to get the necessary documentation to return quickly, but, in the middle of chaos, he learns from his friends that Víctor Harmond, the director of Ana’s movie, is also his ex-boyfriend. Danny, a bit jealous and control-freak, feels betrayed and confronts Ana. After a heated argument and given Danny’s inability to return to Los Angeles, they decide to break up the relationship.
Danny is confined in Madrid with his father, Félix, whom he can barely stand; Ana, in Los Angeles with the filming of the movie stopped due to Covid, they both understand that their relationship is over, until a few weeks later, Ana discovers that she is pregnant. Ana and Danny will have to decide whether to have the baby in the middle of the pandemic and whether to get back together, which is physically impossible since Danny is not allowed to fly to the US.
